Jack Johnson
I really love this guy's music. I also admire him as a surfer and a damn good film-maker.
Stephen Fretwell
What beautiful sweet music he makes..
Guillemots
Quite simply, i love this band. They are one of the most original/creative/exciting live acts i've seen in ages, they blew me away. They're going to be HUGE.
My space..

This varies depending on my mood and i'm greedy - i can't possibly name just one! They currently are (in no particular order) :
Over
Out of nothing
Retread
Fireworks
I Had A Time
New Adam New Eve
I still love 'All You Good Good People' and probably will never tire of hearing it live.
2000 (i think) at Rock City - The first time i ever saw 'em live - cracking night. I remember just standing there singing my head off and clapping like a madwoman, thinking..this band knows how to put on a bloody good show! The thing that really struck me was the atmosphere, every time i see the band they just get better and better!
This also changes constantly, at the moment its DFM. I usually prefer to make my own albums with odds and sods of favourite Embrace b-sides and tracks from all of 'em.
Blind, Dry Kids, The Shots Still Ringing, Brothers and Sisters, Milk and Honey are among my faves.
Constantly changing the more i listen to it, but it currently..
1. Out of nothing
2. Looking as you are
3. Near Life
4. Someday
5. Keeping
6. Spell it out
7. Wish 'em all away
8. Ashes
9. Glorious day
10. Gravity
I've always been more of a lurker.. i think i first posted on the old board, can't remember what now, so can't have been that memorable!
The first on this one..let me see...i was replying to firmo to a Notts pre-gig drink meet up thing that i never bloomin' sorted out so missed the pleasure of meeting fellow boarders :-(
Dan (Dannyboy), closely followed by Pete (Freeride), Shazza (Shazpot) Aoife (Devlin) and James (Jimbo).
I'm a good girl :P

don't really like 'em. Give me a bag of skittles anyday.
don't watch it.
jack daniels and coke please.
i'm an early morning person.
evil, pointless and not even remotley entertaining sport.
Cheese on toast with ketchup and a jaffa cake.
Dogs.
A lazy day down cornwall.... surfing and chilling out in the sunshine, drinking jack daniels (after surfing obviously) followed by a BBQ on the beach, then watching the sunset with Jack Johnson playing in the background.
If you throw chocolate in there and a bloke to keep me warm, that just about sums it up!
Having to work on a summers day when you should be doing the above.... oh and my postgrad course *shudder*.
I'm a sane rational person thank you very much.
i'll get back to you on that one...
