What is your favourite Embrace song?

Drawn From Memory

What was your favourite Embrace gig?

This last tour was amazing, Delamere, Hammersmith and Liverpool being highlights.

Up until then it was Shepherd's Bush Empire - 3rd September 2004 or Eden Project August 05. Ally Pally was amazing, and only a five minute walk home.

What is your favourite Embrace Album?

Drawn From Memory

What is your favourite Embrace B-Side?

Madeline, Flaming Red Hair or Shot's Still Ringing or Soulmates.

In what order of greatness (1-10) would you place tracks from Out of Nothing?

Someday
Keeping
Ashes
Spell It Out
The rest all even except for ...

track 9

In what order of greatness (1-10) would you place tracks from This New Day?

Exploding Machines
Target
The End Is Near
I Can't Come Down
Even Smaller Stones
Sainted
Celebrate
No Use Crying
Nature's Law
This New Day

What and when was your first messageboard post?

I asked for sheet music for the clarinet for Drawn From Memory in September 05. Luno came to my rescue and delivered perfect and very professionally transposed sheet music for me in January 06. Cheers Luno.

Who was the first messageboarder you met?

Said hello to DC at Ally Pally and she introduced me to loads, I can remember Jackie, Bewildergirl and Jimbo. I was a little worse for wear at the time and somewhat overwelmed.

What is the most stupid thing you've done at a gig?

Rubbed my heavily pregnant belly into Paul Weller's back as I walked past him at a Primal Scream gig in 1994, I don't think he noticed. No need to get the child christened after that.

What other music do you like?

Roddy Frame, Doves, Clash, Faithless, Editors, New Order, Joy Division, Kathryn Williams, Pixies, Breeders, Flaming Lips, Guillemots, Gary Numan, Kate Bush - the list is endless and makes no sense.

What are your favourite albums?

London Calling - The Clash
Lost Souls - Doves
The Bends - Radiohead
High Land Hard Rain - Aztec Camera
Way Too Blue - Nick Drake
Copper Blue - Sugar
Through the Windowpane - Guillemots

What are you currently listening to?

Tribute - Tenacious D

What is your favourite Jelly Baby?

They all taste like sick.

Who is your favourite Neighbours character?

Harold Bishop - without a shadow of doubt. We went to visit the neighbours set when travelling in 1993 and my husband couldn't believe that they had at that time written Harold out, glad to say he came back a few years later. I used to like Joe Mangle as well. Now I feel I've really let myself down with the detail on this question.

Most likely to say…

Oh for fuck's sake!

Least likely to say…

I really think Margaret Thatcher and George Bush did a great job.

Cricket - good or evil?

Good - My husband's great great uncle is W G Grace (honestly).

What was the last thing you ate?

All bran

What did you want to be when you were growing up?

A vet, until I realised I couldn't turn down treating reptiles. I am scared of snakes.

If you were having a dinner party, which member of Embrace would you want to help in the kitchen?

Steve looks like he could keep a cool head in the kitchen.

Cats or dogs?

Dogs - cats are sly.

Heaven is…

Glastonbury Festival when the sun shines.

Hell is…

Sitting on the M6 for hours on the way up to visit my parents, I swear it gets longer and longer or in the changing room of the local swimming baths waiting for my son to get changed - he takes hours!

Madness Rating (1 to 10)

A good 10.

An interesting fact about myself…

I am a mind of useless information due to years of transcribing history channel documentaries.
